Well, I'm back

A flight delay out of Dublin, compounded by general West Coast flight-bolluxness for my connection out of LAX caused by the Hawaiian earthquake, means I'm home several hours later than I'd planned, and not on the original airplane I'd planned to arrive on. I pretty much haven't slept in about 24 hours, as the preceding run-on sentence pretty much proves.
The trip was, of course, wonderful. Some general thoughts:
* Dublin is a lovely, vibrant, and growing city. It's just big enough to be cosmopolitan, and just small enough so you can walk everywhere.
* The people in Dublin are really nice. My coworkers in the Dublin office rock.
* I miss proper pubs already.
* During this trip we sampled the full gamut of Irish tourist activities: we experienced castles, ancient tombs, sheep, Irish stew, rain, palaces, gigantic cliffs roundabouts, monasteries, Guinness (I even made it my annual beer), rugged coastlines, Irish music, great food, left-side driving, Celtic crosses, and much more. Photos will be up as soon as I can manage.
Now I have to get used to the cars on the right side of the road!
Sleep now.
