Giving myself the gift of a day off

Back before my birthday my manager asked me, "So, are you going to take a day off to celebrate?" I honestly hadn't thought of that, but it sounded like a great idea. Unfortunately, there were a lot of projects and important meetings on upcoming Fridays and Mondays that it was impossible to make an impromptu 3-day weekend.

Until now!

With my end-of-the-quarter projects all wrapped up at work, a lull in my schedule, and torvo out of town, I'm basking in laziness today by taking a personal day, catching up on TV, playing Halo Wars, napping, reading, and otherwise being a huge layabout. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!
