capricious_k and I are driving to Tucson to visit her family for Xmas, New Years, and her brother's wedding. I expect to stay fully connected so I won't miss out on any online stuff, but I won't be attending Bay Area social events (and for the first time ever, we're missing the Friday Night Waltz New Year's Eve Ball).
Although we'll leave this awesome NorCal weather behind (chilly, rainy and grey, just like I like it!), I'll be compensated with a hot tub, hiking, good time with K's family, and tons of general laziness. Plus I've stocked up with plenty of gaming material and will have my ever-trusty Kindle. And heck, the weather's not too hot there right now (merely in the mid-60s).
