Team Hitman

I play a lot of video games on my Xbox 360. I love the Xbox for its rich graphics and integrated online gameplay via Xbox Live. Solo video games are fun, but playing video games with a group of like-minded online friends is tons more fun. I especially love "tactical shooters" -- military-themed shooting games which require a fair amount of tactical savvy and awareness in order to be truly successful. The team chat function built into every multiplayer Xbox game makes this an very successful genre on the Xbox.

For the last couple of years I've spent most of my Xbox time playing these sorts of games with the same group, Team Hitman. In online-gaming parlance, we're a clan. Even better, we're a clan with dreams of competing nationally through tournament organizers such as Major League Gaming. We even have a couple of sponsors, including Tritton Technologies and Gamertag Radio.

This weekend I'm flying to Miami to meet up with several of my THM teammates to attend the Gamertag Radio 3-Year anniversary event, Community Vib3s. I've met a couple of the THM crew face-to-face before, but this will be the largest gathering of the clan yet. Yes, I am flying across the continent to play video games with a bunch of people that I talk to every other day but mostly have no idea what they look like. I anticipate the weekend is going to be a blast. :-)
