Journal name changing

Heads up, gentle readers: the username of this journal is changing. I was never happy with winter0 -- it was picked in a sort of "oh-shit" last second "I need a username right now" kinda way. The new name will be "wintergr3y."

More details forthcoming after the renaming has been completed.

(By the way, your friends list should update automatically. The only thing that might break will be if you hard-coded the old winter0 username into a journal entry you made -- even then someone clicking on that should get redirected to the new journal.)

Welcome to wintergr3y

So why wintergr3y? Basically, because "wintergrey" wasn't available. For the last few years I've snapped up Wintergrey as a username wherever possible, but occasionally someone else gets it first. How they manage to, I don't know because it's not like it's a common combination or anything. (Hey, aren't I more creative than the other occasional Wintergrey out there? Apparently not.)

So when my first choice isn't available, my fallback is to substitute a "3" for the "e" -- I just hadn't gotten around to doing it on LJ until today. Maybe I'll get lucky someday and the current owner of my preferred spelling will abandon the journal, but until then I'm sticking with this.
