Nov. 19th, 2005 06:16 pmI hope my dancing friends will forgive me; I got a last minute free ticket to Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire last night, so I skipped Friday Night Waltz.
My hair started bothering me again. Usually I'm fine with my hairdo, but when it doesn't work out for a few days in a row, that's my signal that it's time to get it cut. I was just edging towards that "time to get a trim, or try a new style, or something" feeling right up until I saw Harry Potter last night. It turns out 90% of the male characters in the movie pretty much have my same hairdo, especially Ronald Weasley. I'm a trendsetter -- who knew?
I didn't think the movie was nearly as good as the last one.
( My spoilerish review of the movie -- behind a cut tag in case there's some poor soul reading this journal who hasn't read the book. )
I give it 2 1/2 stars, and hope there's a better director's cut edition coming on DVD.
