Today's special guests at the Googleplex
May. 13th, 2005 05:20 pm1. Celebrity chef Mario Batali (designed our lunch menu and gave us free, signed copies of his latest cookbook).
2. New York Time Pulitzer Prize-winning author Thomas L. Friedman (spoke to us about how Google is a "leveling force" in the evolution of globalization, gave us free, signed copies of his latest book).
3. Comedian Robin Williams (gave us the most important gift -- the gift of laughter -- by riffing for 10 minutes about Google, technology, globalization, more Google, Bush, the Pope, and still more Google).
It's a good day to be a Googler. :-)
