We are a part of the Rhythm Nation
Mar. 7th, 2005 02:54 pmI am now the proud owner of a 30Gig Ipod. w00t! Also got a new stereo, since my old boombox finally died -- super-big thank you to
capricious_k!!
And so, my fellow members of the Ipod Nation, a question for you: I'd like to digitize my collection in MP3 (instead of Apple's custom tweak on Mpeg-4, AAC or whatever it's called). Itunes' default settings for MP3 encoding are "Good" (about 120kb), "High" (about 160kb) or "Very high" (about 256kb). My instinct is to go for the "High" setting, which should be fairly high quality without loosing too much fidelity, and still space-conscious for my hard drive, since it will use about half the space of the "Very high" setting. Do any of you have any input on the subject?
