I'm not really one for New Year's resolutions, but I do have one this year, and it's a shared one: I resolve to dance more with mertuil this year. She really is one of my favorite dance partners, and we don't get enough chances. Or perhaps more accurately, we don't make enough opportunities.

Perhaps we can get started on that one tonight. I, too, am attending the 3rd Annual Friday Night Waltz New Year's Waltz Ball. What a life I lead these days -- I wear a tailcoat more times each year than I wear a suit!
