A few times a year Google gets some good speakers. I've just come from my first one: Jimmy Carter. Fascinating guy, and a testament to the power of one. Mostly he was talking about how the Carter Center operates -- another testament to the power of one -- but there were a lot of good questions from the audience about his Presidency, his feelings about the upcoming US election, and his thoughts on the current situation in Iraq.
(There weren't any surprises on his feelings about US current events, of course.)
And in case anyone is wondering, he's still sharp as a tack, and waaaaaay smarter than most of us. Good speaker, too.
