There's a big Death Guild run forming up tonight. Death Guild is celebrating their 11 year anniversary. I'm hoping for CD handouts -- their mix albums are always awesome.

I'll be skipping Plough, but dancing in darkness.

WE HAVE A NEW PLANET!!!!!!!

Astronomers have discovered a new planet in our solar system!!!!!!!!!!! It is orbiting beyond Pluto's orbit and is about 3/4 the size of Pluto. It is named Sedna, after the Inuit goddess of sea creatures.

Wow!!

New weekly Irish ceili dancing in the South Bay starts tomorrow (Tues. March 16th)

Thanks to the stalwart captaining of miss_emelia, tomorrow marks the first day of Irish dancing at St. Stephen's Green in Los Altos. We'll be teaching lessons from 7PM to 9PM (for which we ask for a $5 donation) and then we'll have open dancing for begining, intermediate, and advanced dancers from 9PM to 11PM. All are most welcome to join us.

We're also looking for volunteer musicians (who will be generously compensated with beer and water) for the open dancing starting at 9:00.

There's tons of free parking, both on the street in front and in the parking lot behind the pub.

(Be careful, btw -- there's another St. Stephen's Green in Mountain View. Don't go to that one, we're in the Los Altos one!)
